My offense impacted my life, my community, and my family cause it was many things we had to. My parents had driven to Deerfield to do the intake. My parents also had to drive to Fort Lauderdale to meet with someone from Civil Citation. My offense impacted me in many ways because of those meetings I was late to school on both of the days. I was assigned a Youth counselor and I have group meetings every Wednesday and I needed someone to come pick me up and once a week do an individual meeting in Tamarac at the BSO station. Because of these meetings my after school life activities were interrupted. I played flag football for Dillard 6-12 and missed a lot of practices so I could not play in a lot of games. I went from a starter in my favorite sport to not being able to play at all. The impact of my crime had a good impact on me in a sense, because it helped me control my anger so next time a problem comes up I won’t be so ready to put my hands on someone and I am just able to walk away and my counselor me. Ms. Ninya showed me that I am able to do a lot. I want to make it to college and play football and thanks to her I will finish this program and stay out of trouble and will be able to focus on football and stay out of jail.
